Alove For Enemies

Alove For Enemies was a hardcore band from Long Island, New York, United States. Founded in 2000, Alove For Enemies has released records on their own and constantly touring. In 2003, Alove For Enemies signed to Californian label Strikefirst Records, a subsidiary of Facedown Records. They released broken pledge ep in Dec 2003 and toured extensively to support it. In March of 2004 Alove For Enemies signed with Facedown Records, and in March 2005, the harvest was released. The record was supported by a full US tour and by a European tour in the spring of 2005. Plagued by a series of bad luck, and quite a few lineup changes, Alove For Enemies has persevered. Never giving up, motivated by their faith and by their love of hardcore, Alove For Enemies strives to be true to both. Playing heavy music because they love it, not to try to make money. Not ashamed of whom they are or what they stand for. Now back to full strength, Alove For Enemies continue to write music and bring their message of love to audiences. Alove For Enemies has taken a stance on trying to restore hope to the hardcore scene, to break down the walls of misconceptions about Christianity, and encourage hardcore kids that this is their scene and it does not belong to the corporations that have polluted it. Alove For Enemies's sophomore Facedown release, Resistance was released in July 2006.
