Sleepy Eyed Fox

In 2009, Sleepy Eyed Fox was born. The band (originally called Goodman Brown) got its start from members John Essary, Sarah Huddleston, and Nick Huddleston, and began as a fun summer project. Soon to join the trio, Chad Huddleston and recent addition Stephen Earnest completed the mix, and Sleepy Eyed Fox had taken form. This folk-rock group has been influenced by roots, bluegrass, jazz, and rock music, and holds tight to its eclectic origins. They have a modern spin on an old-time sound that marries the enthusiasm of Mumford & Sons with the rawness of Nickel Creek, and the sincere harmonies of Fleet Foxes, all the while the truth in their songs speaks to all who will listen.
