State Far Better

State Far Better is a South African rock band formed in 2002(?) in the student town of Stellenbosch. This explosive band quickly made name and in 2004 they signed with Musketeer Records and released their self-titled debut album. Hit-singles: Brand New Day, Million Miles and Every Time, amongst others, enjoyed a significant amount of airplay. The album produced as many as 5 top 10 singles on national radio. State Far Better shared the stage with Seether several times, and in 2005 and 2006 they appeared at some of South Africa's biggest rock festivals such as Woodstock, Oppikoppi and Coca-Cola Colab Massive Mix. State Far Better have been working on a second album in 2006, but the band broke up before another album was released. No official announcement was made about their break-up.
